Beta Release - Approvals
Route reservations to the right people for sign off before a reservation is finalized
General beta · October 21, 2026 · Business Admin and Enterprise Admin plans
Approvals are here. You can now add review steps to your reservations, so every request goes to the right person, follows your rules, and gets logged, all inside Cheqroom. No more Google Forms, email chains or colored labels doing the job.
What You Can Do
- Require sign-off for specific items, categories or kits.
- Send high-value requests for review.
- Route requests to the approver group that owns them, set by role or user group.
- Route on a required field, like a class number.
- Let admins and trusted groups skip review and book directly.
✅ You also get a full approval history on every reservation (who decided, when and why), and gear is held while a request is under review, so nobody else books it.
Important Details
- The Approvals beta applies to reservations.
- Our Integration team sets everything up for you. You’ll test it in a test site and sign off before it goes live.
- People who need approval will have a new step before their reservation is confirmed, so give them a heads-up before go-live.
- A denied request goes back to draft. Until it’s edited and resubmitted, other users can add that equipment to their requests.
How to Request Access
Clients on Business Admin and Enterprise Admin plans will receive a request form to request access to the beta. Wave 1 is the first 20 complete, eligible requests. Based on demand, we will form a waitlist and roll out implementation in phases. Submit your request form to get on the list.
