Buffer time helps ensure equipment is ready for the next booking by automatically blocking availability for a set period after a reservation ends or a check‑out is checked in.

  • Protect turnaround time automatically: Add a buffer after returns for cleaning, charging, inspections, restocking, or reset.
  • Set it where it matters: Configure a workspace default buffer time, with optional location overrides.
  • Clear visibility on the calendar: Buffer time appears as “padding” attached to the booking so your team can see why time is blocked.
  • Flexible control for admins: Users with the appropriate permission can override buffer time when needed (you’ll see a warning).
  • Works with your booking setup: Buffer time aligns to your booking duration increments and supports business hours (including the option to skip closed days).
