Feature Release - Field View by Role

We are excited to announce the launch of Field View by Role for all Cheqroom customers. Field View by Role provides administrators with granular control over which custom fields specific user roles can see within the Cheqroom platform. 

Now you can more easily:

• Maintain a single source of truth while customizing what different users see
• Store critical business information (pricing, location details, technical specs) without exposing it to end users
• Customize item detail views based on role-specific needs
• Add information to reservations and check-outs specific to different roles

Eligibility

This feature is available to all Cheqroom customers

Please Note:

• Field visibility is specifically for custom fields. System-required fields cannot be hidden from any role
• Required fields cannot be hidden from any role
• Administrators will always be able to see all fields.

Get Started!

Administrators can configure Field View settings by navigating to Settings → Fields.
