Kits overview
You can group equipment that always stays together in a single Kit. That way you can track it as a whole and book it in one click.
In Cheqroom, Kits can have 1 of 7 possible statuses

Available - The Kit is available for immediate check-out, but can be part of an open reservation for the near future.

Checked out - The Kit is currently unavailable because it’s part of an open check-out.

Awaiting checkout - The Kit is part of a draft check-out.*

In custody - The Kit was given into custody to a contact and cannot be reserved or checked out.
- Empty - No items in the kit are available for check out.
- Partially available - One or more items in the kit is available for check out.

Retired - The Kit is broken or no longer in use and cannot be reserved or checked out anymore. Retired Kits don't count towards your subscription limits.
*Items or Kits that are part of a draft check-out or no longer available for other users to take out. Make sure to clean up your draft check-outs regularly or set up an automated clean up.

Partially available Kits
When a Kit is partially available, you can still reserve or check-out the items of the Kit that are available by either:

Replace item - the unavailable items
- Remove - remove the unavailable item(s) from the Reservation or Check-out

Bulk Items in Kits & Locked Kits
These features are now available to all customers with kits included in their subscription.
Bulk Items - You can now add bulk items directly to your kits, making it easier than ever to manage consumables, accessories, and other non-serialized inventory. This update streamlines your workflow by allowing you to set specific quantities for each kit configuration, ensuring your team has every necessary supply and piece of equipment for every checkout.

- To add bulk items to kits, first navigate to the Bulk Items menu, click the 3 dot menu icon next to the items you would like to add to a kit and then click Add to kit.

- Next, search for the kit using the search bar or click on the kit that you'd like to add the bulk items to.

- Change the desired quantity and then click Add items to kit.

Locked kits - Use Locked Kits to ensure kit integrity by requiring the entire kit to be booked at once. This prevents users from selecting only partial contents, helping you maintain strict standardization across your inventory.

- To lock a kit, first navigate to the Kits menu. From here you can either Search or Filter for the kit you'd like to lock. Once you've found the kit, click the 3 dot menu icon next to the kit you would like to lock and click Lock kit.
