A quick guide on how to move items between your workspaces
Moving items from one workspace to another requires you to export the items from one workspace and import them in another. Please note: You will lose all item history when you move items to another workspace
- Navigate to your Items page on the workspace you would like to move items from and select the items you would like to export:
- Choose your export options. We recommend selecting "Include all fields"
- Navigate to the Items page in your second workspace, and select Import
- Upload the spreadsheet file that you just exported from the first workspace
- When mapping your fields during the import, make sure to remove the ID mapping field. You can do this by simply clearing the right-hand column in the ID section
This item ID is the specific ID connected to your other workspace. When you bring this old ID over, there is a risk you may accidentally overwrite an item in your second database with the same ID. - Click Confirm
- Review any errors and make any corrections needed. Learn more about troubleshooting imports here.
- Once your items have been successfully added to your new workspace, you can delete them or retire them from the original workspace.
