Access and Customize Overview Pages & Item Cards in Cheqroom

This article explains how to access and modify the dashboard and overview views in Cheqroom, and how to customize which fields appear in table columns and item cards.

Accessing Overview pages vs. Dashboard

• Dashboard: a separate summary/home page that provides an at-a-glance view; it does not include the Overview table or the Customize Overview button.
• Overview pages: the main table/list views for specific sections (Items, Reservations, Check-outs, Kits, Users). These are where you can modify column layout and item card displays.

How to open an Overview page

1. Use the left-hand menu (sidebar) to go to the section you want to edit:
   • Items
   • Kits
   • Users
   • Reservations
   • Check-outs
2. When you select one of these sections, you will see the main table/list view — this is the Overview page for that section.

Customize Overview — change columns and layout

1. On an Overview page, click the Customize Overview button.
2. To add or remove columns, select the fields you want from the list. Note:
   • System fields appear at the top of the field list.
   • Custom fields appear at the bottom of the field list.
3. Drag and drop fields to change the order of columns in the table.
4. Click Save to apply and keep your layout.

Customize item cards (Items Overview)

• In the Items Overview, you can customize item cards that appear under each item's name.
• Select up to 3 key fields to display under each item's name.
• You can preview these changes in real time before saving.

Tips and troubleshooting

• If you only see the Dashboard and no sub navigation or Overview, open the left menu and select the specific section (Items, Reservations, Check-outs, Kits, or Users) to reach its Overview page.
• If you cannot find the Customize Overview button or cannot access certain Overview pages, your account permissions or role may be limited. Contact an administrator to review your permissions.
